Parent Rated Provision started with a simple frustration: when your child needs support outside mainstream school — a tutor, alternative provision, SEND support, a mentor or a youth club — it's almost impossible to know who to trust. Glossy websites don't tell you what a service is really like. Other parents do.
What we stand for
Parent-led
Every rating on this platform comes from a parent or carer with genuine, first-hand experience of a provider.
Moderated, always
No review goes live until a human moderator has checked it. We remove anything abusive, fake or unverifiable.
Safety first
Verified providers evidence identity, insurance and DBS checks — and we still encourage parents to do their own checks.
Transparent
Providers can respond to reviews but can never edit, hide or pay to remove them. Good and difficult feedback both stay visible.
How review moderation works
- 1A parent or carer submits a review with their contact details (never published).
- 2Our moderation team checks the review for authenticity, safety and fairness — we may contact the reviewer to verify their experience.
- 3Approved reviews are published, usually within 1–2 working days. Providers may respond publicly but can never remove a review.
